As we worked to prepare our Race to the Top application, the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) held five forums where community members learned more about RIDE’s strategic agenda and shared their views on education reform. We greatly value all of the feedback that we received, which helped us to submit the highest quality application. The following community forums were held:

·         Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Northern R.I. Collaborative, 640 George Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI

·         Monday, Nov. 23 at Toll Gate High School, 575 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI

·         Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Southern R.I. Collaborative, 646 Camp Avenue, North Kingstown, RI

·         Monday, Dec. 7 at Central High School, 70 Fricker Street, Providence, RI
