FY2007-2008 CRP AMENDMENT GUIDANCE

Education in Rhode Island is supported by state, local, and federal funds. The Department of Education is responsible for distributing the state and local funds to school districts according to the appropriate laws and regulations. Federal and state funding is provided in a variety of categories, and the main mission of the Office of Finance is to coordinate and enhance the use of these funds to help students and teachers meet the high standards set by the Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education.
