Child and Adult Care Food Program

The Child and Adult Care Food Program provides federal funding to non-residential child care and adult care facilities to serve healthy meals and snacks. The program operates in child care centers, outside-school-hours care centers, family and group day care homes, and adult day care centers. Sponsors in the Child and Adult Care Food Program must serve meals that meet federal guidelines.
