School Level In$ite Chart and Report Explanations

The individual school charts (which will be gradually added to the Web site) will show all expenditures for each school. Each chart is described below.

School #1 - Total Expenditures by Five Major Functions
School #2 - Total Expenditures by 32 Detail Functions
I1. Each Elementary School - Total School Spending
L1. Each Middle School - Total School Spending
O1. Each High School - Total School Spending
R1. Each Alternative School - Total School Spending
U1. Each Other School - Total School Spending

School #1 - Total Expenditures by Five Major Functions

Pie Chart

  • Displays the expenditures for a specific school

  • Shows the % of total expenditures for each of the five major In$ite functions (Instruction, Instructional Support, Operations, Other Commitments, and Leadership). Note: There are some instances of Debt Service, which is an Other Commitment category, being included at the the school level. By next year's data, there should be no Other Commitments at the school level. Debt Service should show only as a district level expenditure.

Table

  • Enrollment (based on average daily membership - ADM)

  • Total dollars expended in each major In$ite function

  • Per Pupil expenditures in each major In$ite function

  • % expenditures for each major In$ite function (and the basis for the pie chart distribution)

This chart is similar to the Rhode Island #1 chart and each district's #1 chart.

School #2 - Total Expenditures by 32 Detail Functions

Wagon Wheel Chart

  • Displays the expenditures of a specific school

  • Center sections of the wheel show the % of total expenditures for each of the five major In$ite functions (Instruction, Instructional Support, Operations, Other Commitments, and Leadership).

  • The outer sections of the wheel show the % total expenditures for each of the 32 In$ite detail functions.

This chart is similar to Rhode Island #2 chart and each school's #2 chart.
