NAEP Science Results Results Released
5/24/2006 - - Rhode Island 8th graders scored slightly above the national average on the national assessment in science administered last year by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) of the U.S. Department of Education. The test results were released today (May 24th, 2006).

RIDE, Department of Health Announce Improvement in Health-Risk Behaviors Among Students
4/11/2006 - Providence, Rhode Island - Today, the Rhode Island Deparments of Health (HEALTH) and Education (RDE) anounced the results of the 2005 Youth Risk Behavior Surey (YRS). YRS monitors health risk behaviors among public high school students.
