The Commissioner’s Review for 2010 will build on the review process conducted in 2008, for which LEAs submitted substantial documentation. RIDE provided feedback and an indication of their implementation status based on the review criteria. In 2009, Commissioner’s Review will be conducted in two parts: 1) an electronic self report of progress made in implementation towards meeting the 2008 regulations, and 2) a site visit that validates the reported progress.

The Commissioner’s Review visit will focus on evaluating evidence that is best reviewed on site and will validate the information submitted in the electronic report. The site visit will focus on the breadth and quality of implementation of the LEA’s graduation system in compliance with the secondary school regulations.
