Description
Providing on-site professional development is critical, not only to share content, but also to allow the entire staff to consider, discuss, and decide on the different elements of the School-Wide Diploma Assessment. These sessions will help ensure faculty and staff "buy in" and create structured opportunities to communicate consistent messages and information regarding school-wide initiatives. They will also cultivate a common understanding of school graduation requirements like exhibitions and graduation portfolios and the types of supports and learning opportunities that individual faculty members should provide to students.

Professional Development Contact Sheet
There are a number of local professional development providers that can assist schools in designing and implementing their exhibitions and/or graduation portfolios. This list is only a place to get started; it is not a comprehensive listing of all available resources, nor is it a list of providers approved or endorsed by RIDE. Please carefully evaluate each provider's offerings and choose whichever seems most appropriate for your school's immediate and long-term needs.
