Support structures for exhibitions include but are not limited to, personnel (exhibition coordinator/advisors, clerical staff, regular classroom teachers, special educators), mentors, materials and supplies, publications, space/facilities, equipment, consultant services, and professional development fees. It is advisable for a school to have an exhibition steering committee and advisory board for smooth implementation of the system. Strong student support systems must be in place, especially for those students who have needs and circumstances that make the successful completion of an exhibition particularly challenging. An effective communication system for teachers, parents, students, and community partners must be developed. The school schedule must be reviewed and adjusted to support implementation of the exhibition system. All necessary human and fiscal resources must be identified and allocated prior to implementation.
