Higher Education Support

In order to lead more fulfilling lives, to succeed in the world of work, to promote the economic development of our state, and to contribute to society, most students will continue with their education after they graduate from high school. In Rhode Island, we are fortunate that many of our students (75 percent of all high-school seniors, according to the SALT Survey) plan to continue with their education in a college setting.

To select the right college for you, gain admission to the college of your choice, manage the costs of college, and succeed academically and socially at the college level, it is important that you start your planning early. The links on this page will direct you to several Web sites that can help you take the first steps on the pathways to college.
