Office of Middle and High School Reform

Office of Middle and High School Reform Home
Welcome to the Office of Middle and High School Reform. We are currently in the midst of major reform efforts to revalue the Rhode Island High School Diploma. Our site will be changing in the near future to reflect these efforts.

The Office of Middle and High School Reform also houses many of the programs that support youth development, safety and health.  Child Opportunity Zones (COZ), Safe and Drug Free Schools, 21st Century Community Learning Centers and  thrive - RI's Coordinated School Health Program are all part of this office. Career and Technical Education and the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act are major components of secondary redesign; these are now housed in the Office of Adult Education.
