Educational collaboratives in Rhode Island are established through their respective districts and school committees to conduct joint instructional education programs and/or administrative functions. The collaborative groups differ greatly in their structure, projects, number of partners, and purpose.

The five educational collaboratives throughout the state include the following communities:
