Title I: Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
As part of the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001, any
school that is in its second year of School Improvement or on Corrective Action
shall arrange for the provision of supplemental educational services to eligible
children in the school from a provider with a demonstrated record of
effectiveness or a high probability of success, that is selected by the parents
in cooperation with the school district of residence and approved for that
purpose by the State educational agency [Section 1116(e)(1)].
