PROPOSED REGULATIONS
Basic Education Plan

All interested parties are invited to submit written or oral comments concerning the proposed regulations and their economic impact on small business and cities and towns by May 19, 2009 to the Department of Education, Commissioner’s Office at 255 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903, or by e-mail to Sharon.osborne@ride.ri.gov or by phone to Sharon Osborne at (401) 222-8435.

All interested parties are invited to attend public hearings to submit written or oral comments concerning the proposed regulations on:

May 11, 2009, 6:00pm at Middletown High School in the Auditorium, 130 Valley Road, Middletown, RI 02842 or

May 12, 2009, 6:00pm at the William M. Davies Career & Technical High School in the Cafetorium, 50 Jenckes Hill Road, Lincoln, RI 02865 or

May 14, 2009, 6:00pm at South Kingstown High School in the Auditorium, 215 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI 02879 or

May 19, 2009, 6:00pm at the Metropolitan Regional Career & Technical Center, Unity Building, 325 Public Street, Providence, RI 02905

 May 5, 2009, 6:00pm at Toll Gate High School, in the auditorium, 575 Centerville Road, Warwick RI 02886
