The Aspiring Turnaround Leaders Program
The Aspiring Turnaround Leaders Program recruits, selects, and prepares passionate, high potential educators to assume leadership roles in Rhode Island schools that have been identified as underperforming. This rigorous, standards-based 10-month program includes standards and problem-based training, a full-time residency with a mentor principal, and certification as a school building level administrator. It is specifically designed for those whose goal is to assume leadership of a school-based team in turning around a school to better serve children. Our candidates have committed to at least three years’ leadership in one of Rhode Island’s identified schools.
The 2013-2014 cohort will be prepared to lead beginning in the spring of 2014. To meet the next generation of transformational leaders, Contact: Sarah Anderson, Transformation Specialist and Turnaround Leaders Program facilitator, 401-222-8177.
