Rhode Island Basic Education Program
The Basic Education Program provides a framework within which a decision can be made about whether a school district is offering its students a basic education program, including academic and support programs. There are standards for each topic and companion indicators which will tell educators, decision makers, and others whether that component is available.
These regulations remain in effect until June 30, 2010.
