Commissioner's Review 2010 Documents
The Commissioner’s Review for 2010 reviewed and evaluated the progress each
district has made toward a fully implemented diploma system. Review teams,
whose members represented a broad range of educators, reviewed both
electronically submitted documentary evidence and materials provided on site
during each school visit. The site visits provided opportunities for
reviewers to meet with administrators, teachers, and students and discuss
different aspects of the school's diploma system as experienced from their
different perspectives. Reviewers wrote up feedback based on their
observations and review of materials as measured against the Diploma System
Criteria. RIDE provided formal feedback and an indication of the
district's progress toward and gaps in implementation based on the reviewers
comments.
The review materials are provided
below for information purposes.
