An annual review of the exhibition system is important and should use data collected throughout the implementation of the exhibition process. The review should include:
- Instruction and assessment in support of exhibitions
- Appropriate exhibition system professional development for teachers, advisors, mentors, and administrators
- School structures and supports
- Exhibitions rubrics and criteria checklists
- Judge training
- Scoring materials such as rubrics and scoring guides
Each year those engaged in this process should identify areas for improvement. While ongoing review is important, once the School-Wide Diploma Assessment has been implemented fully in a given year, the individuals who are most closely connected to the process should come together, look at the data, and identify ways to improve the system.
