• Provide useful information about student achievement
• Help identify students who are having difficulty meeting the expectations during the process
• Indicate those areas of a school's curriculum or program of studies that need to be reviewed or revised to provide students adequate opportunities to learn the necessary knowledge and skills
• Inform classroom instruction throughout the process
• Inform the review and revision of the entire exhibition system

The evaluation process provides schools with a rich source of data about student achievement and should inform instruction, assessment, and possible curriculum revision. Data collected will also provide information that will inform the review and revision of the entire exhibition system.
