step 11 Create Graduation Portfolio

Students have primary responsibility for creating their graduation portfolios. They will collect and organize a subset of their working portfolio that demonstrates the required proficiencies for a graduation portfolio and reflects their area of specialized interest. Students should be guided in this process by the criteria that are used to judge their portfolios. As part of the process of creating graduation portfolios, students are required to complete a summative reflection that includes descriptions of the learning process, how the portfolio work reflects their career or academic plans, how the entries taken as a whole demonstrate the required proficiencies and any other specific questions that are part of your graduation portfolio requirements.

Responsible adults (advisers, guidance counselors or others) should monitor students through this process, but it is the student's responsibility to choose entries and to write a reflective piece.
