The units of study listed below are support materials for educators that examine the development of concepts in order to enhance student comprehension.
The following five math units are designed to support quality instruction by increasing teachers' content knowledge. These units examine research findings related to students’ understandings of various concepts, as well as examining teaching recommendations based upon those findings. They are meant to be used together with teachers' existing curricula materials rather than as a replacement.
