Lesson Plans, Lesson Video Clips, and Student Work Samples

This section includes a collection of lesson plans that address the Rhode Island GLEs/GSEs. These lesson plans are designed to demonstrate high quality learning opportunities for all students. There are three types of lesson plans:

• Lessons written and taught by Rhode Island educators. These include teacher reflections and in some cases video clips of a lesson and/or samples of student work generated during the lesson.
• Lessons written by educational consultants, which support specific Rhode Island GLEs/GSEs. These lessons do not include teacher reflections, video clips, and/or samples of student work.
• Lessons found on other Web sites that have been aligned with Rhode Island GLEs/GSEs. Some include video clips and/or samples of student work.

How To Locate Lesson Plans

• View a list of all lesson plans organized by Subject and Grade Level.
• View a list of lesson plans that include video clips.
• View a list of lesson plans that include student work samples.
• View a list of lesson plans that were created by Rhode Island educators.
• Use the Resource Finder to locate specific GLEs/GSEs, which may have lesson plans associated with them.
