System of Support for Student Achievement

The Statewide Curriculum is comprised of people, standards, and strategies for scaffolding the education of each child. This system supports all students in achieving high standards. The Statewide Curriculum identifies many paths that may be traveled to reach this goal; always remembering that there is no one perfect "road to travel."

Open communication and access to resources, focus on student achievement, shared beliefs and partnerships are the vital components of this supportive system. Rather than have individual partners work alone to determine their role in educating students, building this strategy or plan will provide a strong, comprehensive way to approach the task. Together each of these groups needs to take responsibility for getting each student to perform to high standards.
