8th Grade Technology Reporting Details
Learning.com will generate school, district, and state reports of eighth grade TechLiteracy Assessment results within days of taking the assessment. RIDE will report state data to the federal government at the end of each school year. (Beginning 2008/09)
Test Administrators can show reports at
the district, school, class or student
level for evidence of accountability to
technology mandates or to drive informed
instructional decisions.
Other Reporting Details
A portion of reporting will take place within e-RIDE's
"Instructional Technology Data
Collection Area" according to the
schedule below. Training for personnel responsible for reporting will occur
at the Data Manager Meeting on October
9, 2008.
- School Computer Count and Internet Access - Beginning of each school year
(Beginning 2008/09)
- Personnel Skilled in Technology -
End of each school year
(Beginning 2009/10)
- Integrated Technology Status
- End of each school year
(Beginning 2009/10)
In addition to the reporting from
Learning.com and within e-RIDE, LEAs must amend and augment their
Technology Plan in the next annual revision cycle
to include:
- Plans for assessing both students and personnel. (Technology assessment is already a required component in Technology Plans. For most LEAs, this will require modifications to meet the federal guidelines. This is an opportunity for those where Technology Assessments are not included to meet both requirements.)
- Plans for the full integration
of technology into curriculum,
instruction and professional
development.
