CACFP Nap Time Chats!

Please join us for the next CACFP nap time chat! This is part of a series of monthly online meeting times for any sponsor, administrator, or staff who works at a CACFP site to log on and ask any CACFP-related question.

The monthly chat is hosted by Heidi Hetzler, MS, RD, LDN, a CACFP training consultant for RIDE and SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator for the University of Rhode Island. Heidi has extensive education and experience in infant and child nutrition, child nutrition program guidelines, and nutrition education for all age groups. She is also bilingual in English & Spanish and will be happy to take questions in either language.

Join the Rhode Island Department of Education and Executive Chef Brian Dinan to explore new flavors and ideas that support the new CACFP meal pattern while highlighting culturally inclusive menu options.  Live demos, recipes, interactive participation and more will be available as part of this training!  We encourage Sponsors to register the staff responsible preparing meals at their centers to attend this training.  Menu planning, cultural inclusiveness and food waste will also be discussed during this training. 

Registration will be forthcoming.  

This event is funded through the USDA's Team Nutrition Training Grant program.
